The Legacy Rail Trail outside Sarasota, FL is a good, flat trail running between the Tamiami Trail and I-75. I rode my bicycle along the entire trail today. After a brief pedal north to take in the northern terminus, I rode south finding the trail to be very popular with lots of riders, many walkers, frequent joggers, occasional runners, and even a few high-powered riders training for races. The southern end of the trail is in a beautiful park along the water in Venice, FL.
