Southern Oregon

Walking along the beach
south of Brookings Harbor
was a favorite activity for us.
Especially with the waves
and interesting rocks!

Brookings Harbor, Oregon is a fun place to visit, as we knew from our trip here a few years ago.  As it is in Oregon's famous "Banana Belt" the weather is very comfortable.  The ocean keeps it cooler than Oregon's interior in the summer and prevents the winters from being too harsh.

Jada took all the best photos.

Our drive north took us through the redwood forests
of northern California and southern Oregon.
Since our campground was
a short walk from the beach,
we'd go there multiple times a day.

The walks along the harbor are fun
for Murph as he enjoys seeing all the boats.

One of our favorite spots in
Brookings Harbor.

It seems we visited Brookings Harbor at
the same time as our previous visit.
The pirate festival was in town!

While in southern Oregon
we visited many of the beaches.

Some hikes took us
through old growth
forests.

After picking blackberries,
Jada prepared these delicious Pancakes.
