May 10 - After a rainy, grey day crossing the Chesapeake Bay into Tangier Sound, Kelly IV is safely tied up. We had our first Maryland crabcake in almost a year and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Kelly IV and I left our crew, the terrific Bob W. at Herrington Harbor. It was an excellent two plus weeks sailing together!

Thomas Point Shoal Light |
As Kelly IV and I sailed past Thomas Point Shoal Light I posted this on Facebook: "OK Girls & Boys, where is Kelly IV today & what is her port of call tonight?" Everyone got it right! :-)
We've arrived in Annapolis, Maryland. A blustery front blew through about an hour after setting the anchor late this afternoon. As the anchored remained set on the bottom, we're feeling good about
safely staying here awhile. Since our crew left at Herrington Harbor South about Noon today we're singlehanding until Karen arrives aboard Kelly IV.
