Shelburne Museum - July 31, 2020

The round barn at the Shelburne Museum
Our trek for the interesting and unique sites led us to one of the most enjoyable places we've seen this trip, The Shelburne Museum.  It is an eclectic, mostly outdoor (hence our interest during Covid) and wonderfully presented museum of art, artifacts, sculpture, architecture and history.

Fancy bench

The warning signs at the covered bridge on the grounds
of the museum.  The bridge used to be the entrance!

I found this structure to be fascinating

Masked, welcoming owls at the Owl Cottage

A huge building housing what we understood
to be an extremely large miniature circus display.
Thanks to Covid, we weren't permitted to see it, indoors.

Roadside Vermont - July 31, 2020

Karen & I are now enjoying the sights and experiences of Vermont.  We drove from southern NH on Wed, seeing the "Whale Dance" near Randolph and "Reverence" (Whales Tails) outside Burlington.  After some chores done yesterday, we did more sightseeing today.  All good!

Between the Tails, you'll see Karen at Whale Dance

Roadside Sights, NH - July 26-29, 2020

After the campground in central New Hampshire, Karen & I moved to a boondocker site in southwestern New Hampshire.  We've found New Hampshire to have a number of  natural wonders.  Although many are simple, yet unique, others are truly impressive.  We found the Andres Art Institute to be the latter.

We loved our boondocker site outside of Keene.

Country Bumpkins, NH - July 26-29, 2020

Country Bumpkins was a nice campground and
immediately south of Franconia Notch

We enjoyed our stay at this old, wonderfully homey, and warmly welcoming campground in Lincoln, NH.

Our campground in Lincoln, NH was the
"Country Bumpkin Campground" and we settled into
a nice little spot along a small feeder creek
to the Pemigewasset River.

The Pemigewasset River ran alongside the camp
