Wild Burro Trail

Round-tailed Ground Squirrel 

I saw this fellow while hiking around Snyder Hill.  Later that day I met Jada for a hike along the Wild Burro Trail north of Tucson near Dove Mountain.

A couple days later we took a bike ride along the Diamond Street Loop Trail.

May 9, 2023 we hiked in Sabino Canyon,
along Sabino Creek, swollen with snowmelt.

The Creek is high enough to wash over the roadway.

Jada's daughter invited us to a baseball game at the
University of Arizona, Jada's alma mater.

After the game we went hiking on Sentinel Peak,
also known as "A" Mountain, as
the U of A has built a huge letter "A"
at the peak overlooking downtown Tucson.
