Treking Tucson

Happy to be at the top of Red Hill,
northeast is behind me.  Near Avra Valley, AZ
I'm spending this winter in and around Tucson, mostly hiking, but did include kayaking, walking and my every other day exercises taking about an hour.

Solar panels were a new addition, cutting the need to
run the generator in half.

These are the rocks that had me climbing
on hands & knees. They felt like they're almost
vertical.  From the top of Red Hill.

Although windy, the view from Red Hill was worth the climb.

BIG palo verde tree. Are those
flowers starting to bud near the top?

Snow capped mountains west of Tucson, AZ.
And it actually rained for more than 12 hours straight,
just like April in the midwest.

Great day kayaking.

I never expected to see cattle wading in the lake!

As it frequently happens, I forgot to
begin my tracking until after
we had already begun our kayaking.
We covered about 4.0 nm around the lake.
