August 7-16, 2021

Travelled mostly the two lane US and State routes from Minnesota through Wisconsin and Illinois to visit college buddies and friends in central Indiana.

Two nights boondocking in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Randy and I shot baskets while visiting the Delt house at Wabash.

a great Delt and Wabash grad.

Minnesota

August 4-7, 2021

Yah, yah, veere in Pederson, doncha ya know. Yah, Pederson, Minny-soda.  You betcha!

Actually, I was boondocking north of Houston and began my bike ride in Rushford, and really liked this welcome to Peterson, Minnesota along the Root River State Trail. 

The bike trail follows the Root River, hence this is the Root River State Trail.

You know you're in MN when half the trail usage requires snow.

MN completes my summer trip across the
USA Northern Tier states. I'm now planning time
with family and friends in IN, OH & PA. 
My current thought is to complete the lower 48 states,
MS & LA, late this fall, before 2021 ends.

The flat rail trail permitted me to keep my average speed at a better pace.
