Cycling at Niagara

The next day the weather was still sparkling, so we rode our bicycles along the Niagara Trail from Lewiston to Niagara Falls, NY.  We lunched at the Hard Rock Cafe', then pedaled back to Lewiston.

Murph had seen Niagara Falls at night twenty years ago when he took some friends from work to see the Falls after an evening appointment in Buffalo.

It turns out that they've expanded the show dramatically!

Niagara Falls

We walked across the Rainbow Bridge into
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

Another bucket list item for Jada was seeing Niagara Falls.  We settled Kelly VI at a Boondockers Welcome host in Lewiston, NY just north of Niagara Falls, NY and across the Niagara River from Queenston, ON.  Our host and new friend let us know about several wonderful facts and places in the local area, including that local merchants sponsored a free, step on-step off, transit shuttle so we could leave Kelly VI parked in Lewiston and still see the sights.  Not having to find parking for Kelly VI was a huge win!

The shuttle dropped us in Niagara Falls, NY Near the Rainbow Bridge.

Canada's Horseshoe Falls are a powerful,
dramatic site.  The crest line of the Horseshoe Falls is
approximately 670 metres wide (2,200 feet),
the American Falls about 260 metres (850 feet) and
the Bridal Veil Falls about 15 metres (50 feet).
