Today we passed a 315ft freighter, the Stella Nova, built by Jumbo Shipping out of Rotterdam (photo below). To get some perspective, the catamaran that it is carrying is ~40ft in length, which is ~25% longer than our boat. Given that the catamaran has two hulls, it has about twice the living space that we have. Rather impressive to encounter such a huge vessel so close by.
