Karen and I decided to visit places recommended highly by RV friends of ours and we were not disappointed. To review the entire trip, scroll to the bottom and click for a "Newer Post". Our plan was to first camp in Alabama to enjoy the Gulf coast, then north through Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri to camp at Table Rock State Park, just outside Branson, Missouri.
Alabama, July 6-12, 2019
The trip began with my brand new tires going flat! I had bought the tires a couple days before we planned to leave with the idea that we'd avoid any tire problems on the long road trip. Then I noticed that the RV seemed to be riding a bit lower each day. It bothered me enough to take it to the folks who sold me the tires to have them checked. Thankfully, it was only a leaky valve which was quickly replaced and we were on our way, only a couple hours late.
We first drove the RV to Crawfordville, Florida, over 300 miles towards our destination. My college classmates will recognize the only difference between C'ville, FL and C'ville, IN is a single "s," as the home of Wabash College is Crawfordsville, IN.
Our next day had us enjoying a brief walk in Niceville, FL taking a break from the drive, before continuing to Gulf State Park, AL.
The pictures and captions tell most of the tale.
