Crossed through Hines & Redmond, OR this week, enjoying scenery very different from AZ & NV. Also got to spend time walking & cycling.

Beautiful day driving Oregon's Pacific coastline on US 101 on May 19.
Update: Since I drove north of the 45th parallel, I'm now closer to the north pole than to the equator. I haven't been this far north since last October in
Petoskey, MI.

Now camping on Oregon's Pacific coast at Nehalem Bay State Park. Deer wander unafraid through the campground. Same as at the Grand Canyon in 2016. |
