November 28-30, 2021

Randy and I steered Kelly VI, the RV, southeast through southern Mississippi then due south into Louisiana and took the 26.2 mile long Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge into downtown NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana).  Thanks to many trade shows in NOLA during my working years, I knew a great starting point would be to grab a meal at Mother's, a NOLA classic for many decades.

The gent in the white ball cap, army jacket & jeans is
at the back of the line, almost 20 people long.  Yes, there is almost
always a line at Mother's, their food is that good!
You order your meal at the counter (out of site) and
the staff delivers your meal to the table.

Randy collected a bag of beignets so we'd have several
great breakfasts for days to come.

We enjoyed the performances by this street vendor, 

one of many in NOLA.

This group was so good, we caught two of their
songs on video: this one and that one.

Loads of tourist traps in NOLA, but this one was really wild!

Jackson Square, French Quarter

fraternity brother.

This noteworthy gent with the Mardi Gras walking staff
was recognized by the performer as a fellow musician
and long time resident and performer in NOLA.

We walked back through
the French Quarter,
returning to our campsite at
Bayou Segnette State Park.

Having toured New Orleans enjoying meals,
brews, beignets and terrific music,
we added Louisiana to Kelly VI's RV map .  .  .

.  .  .  completing All of the Lower 48 States!
