South Georgia - June 8-9, 2020

Fun day yesterday!  We're driving slowly, stopping to see the sights as we go.  Today, only 2 of 4 could be seen, but we still enjoyed a terrific day.

We found the location of the world's largest peanut, but a recent hurricane blew it off this brick base!

Dedication to the world's largest peanut, Ashburn, GA in the base of this brick column. -->

We missed the largest peanut, so zoom in to see a pig on a post in the distance.

A fun monument to our nation's most widely known peanut farmer, Plains, GA.

Our last stop of the day, hiking through Providence Canyon State Park, GA. It reminded us of Bryce Canyon, UT

Hiking through the Canyon floor we discovered interesting rivulets carved by the recent rains.

Looking upwards from the canyon floor.

The Global Village display at Habitat for Humanity was closed due to virus, in Americus, GA.
