Kinzua Skybridge Biking

This mural is on the storage bin at the eastern parking lot
for the Knox & Kane Rail Trail in Mt. Jewett.
This photo and all the better shots were
taken by Jada.
Kelly VI took us south from Lewiston, NY to see our sailing friends at Moraine State Park, but Murph's interest in cycling had us stop enroute to ride the Knox & Kane Rail Trail.  This trail took us to Kinzua Skybridge State Park which highlights a century old railroad trestle that was knocked down by a tornado.

This photo is from the Wikipedia page about
the Kizua Skybridge State Park.
This railroad bridge became a pedestrian bridge when
it was no longer used by the railroad.  Engineers discovered
it needed work so it was then closed to pedestrians.
Soon after, a tornado blew down over half the bridge.

Jada's artistic shot.  Very cool. 👍

The farmers started selling their sweet corn and we couldn't resist!
