Big 'Bash 2022

The Beta Psi Delts of Wabash College are strong supporters of Wabash, so the Delt events were planned around the College activities.  Delts easily participated in any College events without missing time with their Delt brothers and families.

The weekend before the Big Bash
several Delts enjoyed the Indy 500
Time Trials.  Larry Norris '78, Randy
Allen '77, "Murph" Murphy '76
and local friend, Bill Maxwell
were in attendance.

Military Veterans, Randy & Bill found this "Wall of Gratitude."

And Randy found his name on the Wall!

Wednesday evening before the Big 'Bash, this crew
gathered at the C'ville American Legion to make
preparations for the weekend.

Greg Fuchs '79, John Murphy '82, Allen Murphy '76,
Randy Allen '77, Brad Ballentine '79.

Friday morning the prep crew descended on the "Wallace Opry"
for a great country breakfast in a terrific atmosphere.

Back to Camp Rotary, our beautiful
venue for the weekend.

While much work was done in preparation
for the weekend, there was time to hike.

Sugar Creek, below the camp was cool.

For happy hour a growing crowd of Delts
converged downtown at Backstep Brewing.

Many Delts returned to Camp Rotary for the
evening where even the flowers dressed
in Wabash Scarlet!

As usual, there was a campfire where the Delts
solved the world's problems.  😄

Saturday morning the Big 'Bash events began
in earnest at the College.

Delts were well represented at the run/walk around campus.

Delts trekked at a steady, rapid pace.

The course encircled the campus.

Retired Alumni Director, Tom Runge, joined this
group of Delts for their check-in photo.

One of the "goodies" this year was a sign for your home.

Campus buildings were open for tours,
including the Delt Shelter.

This image was painted on a wall inside the Delt house.

Lunch at the College including
Wabash Alumni Director & Delt, Steve Hoffman, in white.

Delts engaged in conversation with College President, Scott Feller.

Some of the Delts attending the luncheon in the Allen Center.

Unlike the dainty Dannies down south, Wabash
proudly displays the Monon Bell for all to ring,
loudly proclaiming our football victory last fall.
One of many memories discussed at the Big 'Bash.

The class of 1972 celebrated their 50th reunion with a certain style!

While some classes enjoyed the summer weather,
several Delts enjoyed a cool beverage at Wally's.
The traditional Chapel Sing included the class of 2012,
four of the six classmates were Delts.

John Murphy was the lone Delt in the Class of '82.

The entire group with All Classes for a final rendition
of Old Wabash.
What it was like singing with all the fellow alumni.

This Delt game board was discovered outside the new dorms,
west of the Delt Shelter.

Dinner Saturday night was back at Camp Rotary .  .  .

.  .  .  where the Delt crew took a moment for pictures.

Volunteers prepared classic American summertime fare.

Jada & Allen '76

Wyatt Hare lead the group in songs
around the campfire.

Relaxing around the fire with friends from all years.
Camp Rotary and the Bg 'Bash are a wonderful way
to reconnect with brothers.
