Takashi & Michiko welcomed us into their family, allowed a day for us to recuperate from the long trip, then Jada and I enjoyed a wonderful walk through a local park, Aichi Prefecture Forest Park, that Takashi hiked through on a frequent basis, when his health was better. In fact, Takashi keeps a blog of his drawings and photos of the flora & fauna through the park. For many years he took photos and more recently he's posting his artwork.
All the best photos were taken by Jada.

Jada, The Fish Whisperer!
This gal had a conversation with Jada!
This striking red bridge stood out in the beautiful park.
Jada noticed that the manhole covers and utility access points all had notable designs. She began collecting photos of them. To see them all, Click Here.

Takashi & Michiko took Tsukasa, their son, and us to a typical, local restaurant for dinner.
This small booth in the corner of the restaurant parking lot caught Jada's attention.
The booth was a dumpling vending spot, but on the honor system.
The buyer is expected to drop their money here when purchasing the dumplings.
There were several sights Jada & I noted as we walked to/from the park. We noticed that most of the cars are quite small, even this VW bus.
Dumplings were available everywhere, these were in a Lawson's convenience store featuring a choice of several fillings.
