Travel to Osaka

From the overlook, that's
Jada in the center of the pic.
Our trip to Osaka began with a short shuttle ride from our hotel to the East Port on Himakajima, no walking this direction!  We caught our ferry on time which left us Morozaki Port, waiting for the bus.  As we had plenty of time, Jada encouraged me to walk up the hill to visit the shrine.  I enjoyed the short hike, then continued further on the trail to discover there was a spot set overlooking the entire port, peninsula, Ise Bay, Shinojima, Himakajima and Miwaka Bay.

All the best photos were taken by Jada.

Click Here for a video displaying a 360 degree view overlooking the peninsula and both bays.

Saw this from the train in downtown Nagoya.
Recall the gold Tiger Fish on Nagoya Castle?
This seat for infants and toddlers was
in the restroom on the Shinkansen.
Great idea for parents
traveling with small kids.

Our route took us from hotel to shuttle to ferry
to bus to local train to bullet train to local train
to walk to our B&B.  From Himakajima to
Morozaki to Kowa to Nagoya to Shin-Osaka to
JR-Noe to our B&B in Osaka.
Using Google Maps, we found this little
pub a few blocks from our B&B for dinner.

It turned out to be a second floor walk-up.
We were the only customers and
got great service.

Another short walk took us to the grocery
where we provisioned for the few days
we'd be in Osaka.  We also saw the store
had those same little fish
we first thought were pasta.
