Maine Quarantine - July 17-18, 2020

Now we're quarantining in Maine.  Since Karen & I arrived from out of state, the Maine governor requires that we stay away from others and remain publicly separated for 14 days.  Of course, we'll be in NH again in that time.  SOoooo, we're self quarantining at a BoondockersWelcome site as we visit places that allow us to stay away from others.

The Nubble Lighthouse (pic by Karen) on Cape Neddick.
I enjoyed a terrific day as Kelly IV and I sailed by in 2011.

The "Big Indian" at a shop south of Freeport.
Some say it's a Big "F_______" Indian.
We're pretty sure the "F" is for Freeport.  🙂

The fisherman is masked at Brown's Wharf
where I spent a night on their mooring in 2011
during my Down East Circle cruise.

The Sheepscot River from the deck at Wiscasset.
This is a panorama, Click Here and scroll to see it.

Identified as a "Monster of Unfathomable Pedigree" in Bath.
NO!  Not Karen! The welded character!

The "Desert of Maine"!  I had no idea this existed
until Karen told me.  It's just west of Freeport.

A really cool playground at the Desert of Maine

Harry required we stop here.  Great beer and
1% of sales (Not profits!) goes to worthy causes.

"Lunch" is one of Maine Beer Company's products,
named after a whale!

Our RV, circled, (see other pic for the note we left)
in a lot that says "No RV Parking."
But we HAD to get hiking shoes at LLBean
and it was the only place we could park!

We placed this note on the RV window
as we could only find this place to park.
Check the other photo for more info.
