On our return from Mt. Washington, we stopped for a beautiful hike along Echo Lake then on to Profile Lake in Franconia Notch. There we found a nice waterside park arranged so folks who didn't see the "Old Man of the Mountain" before it collapsed from the cliff face, could have the same experience.
