Shelburne Museum - July 31, 2020

The round barn at the Shelburne Museum
Our trek for the interesting and unique sites led us to one of the most enjoyable places we've seen this trip, The Shelburne Museum.  It is an eclectic, mostly outdoor (hence our interest during Covid) and wonderfully presented museum of art, artifacts, sculpture, architecture and history.

Fancy bench

The warning signs at the covered bridge on the grounds
of the museum.  The bridge used to be the entrance!

I found this structure to be fascinating

A very cool bronze and wood sculpture

An 1840 Vermont schoolhouse

The old train station

Cool sculpture of a grandfather clock

The huge horseshoe barn

Old Methodist church with a rooster windvane

Masked, welcoming owls at the Owl Cottage

A huge building housing what we understood
to be an extremely large miniature circus display.
Thanks to Covid, we weren't permitted to see it, indoors.
