Cape Cod - July 11, 2020

Karen & I are now on Cape Cod and pedaled 23.9 miles on the Cape Cod Rail Trail today.

This is our very nice BoondockersWelcome.com site near Bedford, MA. We barbequed on the grill and had a very quiet and private setting.

The couple hosting us met us on their deck and were most friendly and gracious.

Our campsite on the Cape is very nice, albeit pricey.  You may notice we've added a cover for our bicycles which has proven very good at keeping our bikes clean and rust-free.  Karen worked several hours removing rust and road grime so her bike was sparkling new again.  With the cover it remains that way.

An old timber marker on the Cape Cod Trail
It's a gorgeous ride and very popular.

Marconi Beach in the Cape Cod National Seashore, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Cape.

Bicycle Data

You might notice we biked as much as 16.3 feet below sea level (underwater!)  Methinks an error by the app or GPS.  :-)

Our neighbor's RV is a refurbished ambulance with a pullout sofa-bed instead of a gurney.
