Baseball

Jada's last night in Pittsburgh was a rainout, but for a lass from the Arizona desert, that's a good thing!

Actually, the evening proved to be great fun as Jada and Murph took the traditional "steamboat" ride to the ballpark, enjoyed a winning game (the Pirates rarely win), and just relaxed with no tight schedule until Jada's flight the next day.

All the best photos and videos were taken by Jada.

Kelly VI spent most of her time at
Keith's driveway.

Our transportation to the ballpark.

Before the boat ride, we visited the
plaza on the south shore
near the docks.
This is a Bessemer Furnace
from the old steel mills in the area.

The slag is still visible.

Directly across the Monogahela River is downtown.

The Grand Concourse, from the old
P&LE RR Station is truly a
Grand Restaurant today.

The Fort Pitt Tunnels as seen from our ferry ride.

The Duquesne Incline

Statue commemorating Bill Mazeroski's
walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th inning
in the last game of the World Series against the
Yankees in 1960.

The rain came but we didn't care.  😊

Once the rain quit, the Pirates took over, winning the game!
