This mural downtown highlights local hockey
celebrities like Mario Lemieux and Sid Crosby.

The evening was just getting started so we left Oakland for downtown.  The title is how Pittsburghers pronounce "Downtown Pittsburgh" in "Pittsburghese."  There are fewer of the folks with this classical manner of speech around nowadays with young folks moving elsewhere, newcomers moving into the area and everyone speaking like the "talking heads" on TV.

Pittsburgh's old courthouse and prison
date back over a hundred years and look
even older.  Several movies have been
filmed here taking advantage of the ancient buildings.

The Armstrong Tunnels empty directly into
downtown Pittsburgh just south of Duquesne University.
