Day 52 Rt 66 Seligman, AZ

No longer a service station, this salon still rocks!
Ash Fork, AZ
After several days in the AZ high desert getting RV maintenance accomplished, I'm back on Rt 66.  Day 52 took me 27 miles from Ash Fork, AZ to Seligman, AZ.  Wonderful spots to enjoy Historic Rt 66.  A beautiful ride following the original route for most of the day, minimal interstate.

Ash Fork is known for these flagstone sidewalks, built by the WPA from 1936-39.

Great neon at the Stagecoach Motel,
east of Seligman, AZ.
There are great murals here.

At the Aztec Motel & Gift Shop, Seligman, AZ.

Great signs at this gift shop.

Reminded me of my new

I found this to be a fun,
if mixed messages, sign.

I thought this mount of an old pickup on
a shop wall was pretty cool. Seligman, AZ

Excellent neon and sights in Seligman, AZ.

While I enjoyed my visit with great locals and a tasty IPA,
I haven't figured out why this pub is "World Famous."

View of the countryside near my campsite tonight.
