Day 65 Rt 66 San Bernardino, CA

Lots of teepees at the Wigwam Motel in San Bernardino, CA.
Day 65 on Rt 66 carried me 25 miles from San Bernardino to Claremont, CA.  I plan to get a  photo from Claremont tomorrow, as I wasn't able to today.  So many places along Foothill Boulevard that are still here from the heydey of Rt 66, but not easy to photograph when it requires parking the RV.

That's the manager and Owner's son, who explained about
the work they're doing to keep this classic in great shape,
including the concrete work that kept the shop closed today.
Covid has been tough on them & many fellow Rt 66
businesses as a huge chunk of their seasonal
business is folks from overseas.

Although the pumps are long gone,
this old service station is still
helping auto owners.  Fontana, CA

I'd have done a selfie, but my arm's too short.

You've probably seen this classic many times, but
it is well worth seeing again. Unfortunately,
closed to Covid.  Rancho Cucamonga, CA

The bridge over Foothill Blvd at the trailhead of
the Pacific Electric Trail recalls Rt 66. I'll get the bridge graphics for the eastbound travelers tomorrow.  Rancho Cucamonga, CA

The famous Magic Lamp Inn, now open for dinner,
so maybe CA is starting to reopen?  Rancho Cucamonga, CA
