Day 27-28 Rt 66 to Elk City, OK

Day 28, a full day though only 29 miles along Route 66.  After a great visit with the proprietor,  Melody, of "Bazaar on Rt 66," in Elk City, OK, I enjoyed the afternoon exploring the in & out door exhibits of Elk City's National Rt 66 Museum.  Day 27 would have featured these same photos with lots of snow & no sun.  I decided to wait for today's sunshine before leaving Clinton, OK.

Melody is such a fan of Harley's that she had
this life size cutout of him built for her store.

Melody poses with some of her favorite things,
the lighted sign that's lighting her from the side and
the sign she's holding.
This is the sign Melody is holding.  It's from
Harley's "Sandhill Curiosity Shop" in Erick, OK
