Day 30 Rt 66 to Amarillo, TX

Day 30, only 32 miles along Rt 66 but enjoyed two wonderful folks today: Kinsey who served lunch at the "Big Texan" and Jim Livingston, Creator of "I Am Rt 66", both in Amarillo, TX.  Sadly, my off season drive and the pandemic have reduced the many folks I would have met to a significant few.

Bob Waldmire's work is everywhere along Rt 66.

I met Jim at the Visitor Center in Amarillo.
He is a highly accomplished and talented
photographer.

Look under the ceiling, you'll understand the bar's name.

Another cool Amarillo hangout, except Covid closed it.  :-(
