Day 15 Rt 66 to Carthage, MO

Very wet, but wonderful Day 15 following Route 66.  Although some famous spots were closed, like Gay Parita, I still got LOTS of pics.

After following Rt 66 from Springfield to Joplin, I headed south to take a day in Arkansas, a brief side trip.

The "Town" of Red Oak II is really cool.
Check their website, Here.

As Red Oak II is great for a nice walk,
I took videos as I walked through the village. Video

The homes and scenes throughout Red Oak II
are wonderful and thought provoking.  To see more, Click.

Fun, old truck at this shop. The words on the
rusty rails under the truck say,
