Chelsea has several great Route 66 places and sights to see, but I especially enjoyed how they've made their pedestrian underground a participation event. The day continued as I drove further southwest, next blog post.

Although the height was plenty for the RV, at 6.25 tons the weight limit had me drive another way. |

Chelsea even had a mural, old truck and car. |

This is all that's visible on the north side of the highway. |

This mural of "postcards" stretches the entire length. |

My "signature" is in Red at the upper right corner of the northern edge of the mural. It says: "Murph", Rt 66 Chi/LA, CaptMurph.blogspot.com. |

This Uhaul truck with a Waldmire-like mural is at the south entrance of the pedestrian underground. |
