Day 18 To Foyil, OK

Chelsea has several great Route 66 places and sights to see, but I especially enjoyed how they've made their pedestrian underground a participation event.  The day continued as I drove further southwest, next blog post.

Although the height was plenty for the RV, at 6.25 tons
the weight limit had me drive another way.

Chelsea even had a mural, old truck and car.

This is all that's visible on the north side of the highway.

This mural of "postcards" stretches the entire length.

My "signature" is in Red at the upper right corner of
the northern edge of the mural.  It says:
"Murph", Rt 66 Chi/LA, CaptMurph.blogspot.com.

This Uhaul truck with a Waldmire-like mural is
at the south entrance of the pedestrian underground.
